Driver Conduct Hearings

Has the Traffic Commissioner called you to a Driver Conduct Hearing?
Driver conduct hearings with the Traffic Commissioner can be unnerving experiences. Having to answer difficult questions and give evidence in public is never easy, particularly when your vocational licence and livelihood are at stake.
We offer free initial consultations and fixed fees.
Drivers may be called to a driver conduct hearing for a wide range of reasons, for example:
  • You have been disqualified & you want your vocational entitlements back
  • You have committed tachograph and/or driver’s hours infringements
  • You have points or convictions either at work or in your own car, for example:
    • Drink driving
    • Using a mobile phone
    • Speeding
    • Failing to stop/provide driver details after an accident
    • You are applying for a new license but have serious criminal convictions
In some cases, a driver conduct hearing will take place after a conviction in the criminal courts. This is commonly the case for tachograph and motoring offences.
At other times, a driver conduct hearing may be combined with a Public Inquiry for your employer . Understandably this can be very stressful.  representation is essential in these circumstances.
